• Summoning and enforcing the attendance of any witness and examining him on oath;
• Requiring the discovery and production of any document;
• Receiving evidence on affidavits;
• Requisitioning any public records or copy thereof from any public office;
• Appointing commissions for the examination of witnesses and documents;

• The Commission may conduct inquiry or investigation into matters falling within its authority, -

  directly, through an investigating officer appointed by the Commission, through the Government Departments or Agencies, or through NRI Cell
